The Columba Community are  invited to write prayers that they feel are particularly relevant in this day and age. 2025 A.D.
Daily prayer to combat drug dealing and other harmful activities.

Lord, You came to set the captives free.
We bring before you those in active addiction and those in recovery. Let them hear Your voice, let them see Your face and find contentment in You.
We pray against the plans of anyone involved in and profiting from drug dealing, the distribution of harmful substances and of unsuitable images. Confuse their plans, disrupt their activities and dismantle their networks. Heal whatever is broken in them, soften their hearts and bring them to repentance. If they resist your grace, we call on You to protect the vulnerable from them.
Rescue those who have been coerced into promoting, carrying and pushing these substances and materials onto others.
Lord, Your plans for us are always good. We pray for the success of Your plan to bring New Life, Life to the Full for all your children. Allow us to play our part in this plan.
We include in our prayer the many people working hard to overcome the destruction of individuals, families and communities caused by addiction, drug dealing and other harmful activities. Guide, direct and inspire their work; Let no harm come to them.
St Columba, Venerable Matt Talbot, Fr Neal and all the Saints we know and love, pray for them. Loving Lord, hear our prayer. Amen

A Thank You Prayer

Jesus, we thank you for the gifts of all our Centres - Columba House, St.Anthony's Retreat Centre, White Oaks Rehabilitation Centre, The I.O.S.A.S. Centre, The Sanctuary Complex, The Prayer Garden dedicated to the Celtic Saints and Carlin House in Letterkenny. We ask that you fill each of these with your love and light that they may continue to shine as beacons of hope to others on their journey - gently guiding and steering all who minister, work and visit with renewed vision and zest for life and truth.
Bless particularly all those patrons who so faithfully adore at Columba House or Saint Anthonys - especially hear the prayers of all those who have left their petitions at the foot of the Cross trusting that you not only hear but will answer their prayers and needs.
May The Columba Community stay true to Fr.Neal's vision for each of our apostulates and be blessed in their ministry as they continue to believe and celebrate the power of Jesus Christ to bring people together to witness the good news of the Gospel.
"I have come that you may have life and have it to the full"     John 10:10

Prayer for Integrity, Discernment and Courage

Lord, grant us peace in our hearts, in our homes and in all the countries of the world. Lord, to achieve that, we ask you to clarify in the minds of everyone the true meaning and importance of the word integrity and give us the wisdom and courage to act with integrity in all contentious issues so that  all our actions reflect the Word of God that we proclaim and neither undermine nor contradict our words.
We pray that those actions will shine forth as an example to others and the result of such actions will bring forward the day when Your Peace will reign.
Continue to bless and empower us as individuals or as a Community as we seek to foster Prayer and Reconciliation in our world.

"The wilderness shall lead you, to the place where I will speak, Integrity and justice wih tenderness you shall know"     Hosea 2:16,21
